Today, scientists in the aerospace industry are looking to use electrical energy instead of fossil fuels and use plasma as a thruster for drones. An example of a plasma actuator is the corona plasma actuator,. In this research, microrobot-scale aerial vehicles with a weight of less than 100 mg and a characteristic length of less than 5 cm are investigated using an electrohydrodynamic actuator based on corona discharge. The generation of propulsive force is almost silent and without the use of moving parts. In this research, by examining the use of different aluminum alloys (T3, 1100, 2024, 7050 and 7075), an optimal weight for the collector and the optimal weight and strength required for the emitter were obtained. As a result, a single-emitter model and finally a dual-emitter model were built and the results obtained were discussed and examined. The thrust produced by the dual-emitter mode in the negative corona is 79 percent higher than the single-emitter mode, and in the dual-emitter mode, the thrust produced in the negative corona discharge is 44 percent higher than the positive corona discharge. Also, in the negative corona, increasing the voltage in the single-emitter sample has a significant effect on reducing the production efficiency compared to the dual-emitter propellant.
